The Pioneer Valley Panthers ran past the host Gilroy Mustangs football squad by a margin of 35-21 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nipomo for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Pioneer Valley will meet a Titans squad coming off a 49-21 non-league win over Righetti (Santa Maria, CA). The Titans record now stands at 1-1.

The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Christopher (Gilroy, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Christopher lost by Monterey (Monterey, CA), 22-21, in a non-league challenge.
