Texas High School Football - Lometa prevails Gorman

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Lometa Hornets football squad scored a good 40-16 triumph over the Gorman Panthers.

The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Blum (Blum, TX). The Bobcats come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Blum went down by Coolidge (Coolidge, TX), 63-18, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Panthers play the Brookesmith Mustangs (Brookesmith, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 5. Gorman will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 73-31 non-league win over Mullin (Mullin, TX).
