In Thursday's non-league match, the host Hatch Bobcats football squad scored a good 26-8 victory over the Wilcox Central Jaguars.
The Bobcats (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Saints go into the 1A Region 3 battle with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Holy Spirit Catholic was beaten by Holt (Holt, AL), 33-0, in a non-league match.
