The Hibbing Bluejackets football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Pine City Dragons to 6 in the Bluejackets league triumph on Thursday.

The Bluejackets now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Branch for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Hibbing will face a Vikings team coming off a 22-10 non-league win over Two Harbors/Marshall/Kelley (Two Harbors, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.

The Dragons (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Braham (Braham, MN). The Bombers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
