In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Pinon Eagles football squad scored a decisive 46-0 victory over the Hopi Bruins.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Window Rock (Fort Defiance, AZ). The Fighting Scouts enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Window Rock was routed by Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ), 47-8, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Bruins confront the Many Farms Lobos (Many Farms, AZ) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 4. Hopi will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lobos enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 44-0 non-league loss to Valley (Sanders, AZ).
