Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting St. Louis Sharks (St. Louis, MI), 9-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Ithaca upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Lawton (Lawton, MI) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Friday, September 5. The Blue Devils come into the match with a record of 1-0. Lawton won 24-6 in their recent non-league match against Decatur (Decatur, MI)

Coming up next, the Sharks play the Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. St. Louis will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Chargers go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 20-0 non-league win over Lutheran Northwest (Rochester Hills, MI).
