Jesuit Blue Jays (New Orleans, LA) boosters were content Thursday as they observed their football squad nudge the host Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA), 17-10 in a non-league match.

The Blue Jays (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Dallas Jesuit (Dallas, TX). The Rangers come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Dallas Jesuit was nudged by Hebron (Carrollton, TX), 31-3, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Picayune for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Northshore will play a Maroon Tide team coming off a 31-28 non-league win over Gulfport (Gulfport, MS). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 1-0.
