California High School Football - Mt. Whitney crushed by Justin Garza

Justin Garza Guardians (Fresno, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA), 53-18 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Justin Garza improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Guardians travel to Kerman (Kerman, CA) to meet the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, September 5. The Lions come into the match with a record of 2-0. Kerman won 53-19 in their recent non-league match against Caruthers (Caruthers, CA)

Coming up next, the Pioneers meet the Tulare Western Mustangs (Tulare, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Mt. Whitney will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 12-7 non-league win over Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA).
