Arizona High School Football - Liberty smashes Mountain View

The Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) football trounced the visiting Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ), 37-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Corner Canyon for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Liberty will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 67-21 non-league win over Fremont (Plain City, UT). The Chargers record now stands at 3-0.

The Toros (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Mesa (Mesa, AZ). The Jackrabbits enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Mesa overwhelmed Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ), 34-14, in a non-league outing.
