The Lincoln Prep Lightning football team (Chandler, AZ), was crushed 54-22 in Thursday's non-league bout with the visiting San Carlos Braves (San Carlos, AZ)

With the win, San Carlos advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Braves host Globe (Globe, AZ) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-1. Globe lost 34-14 in their recent non-league match against Santa Cruz Valley (Eloy, AZ)

Coming up next, the Lightning confront the Mountainside Wolves (Wittmann, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Lincoln Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 47-0 non-league win over NFL Yet Academy (Phoenix, AZ).
