California High School Football - Lynwood toppled by South Gate

August 28, 2025: South Gate, CA 90280

The Lynwood Knights football squad (Lynwood, CA), was outscored 38-10 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA)

The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Chiefs go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Santa Fe was topped by Norwalk (Norwalk, CA), 35-20, in a non-league bout.

The Knights now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Locke for a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. Lynwood will confront a Saints squad coming off a 38-12 non-league loss to Bernstein (Hollywood, CA). The Saints record now stands at 1-1.
