The Rush City Tigers football squad scored 24 points and limited the host Mesabi East Giants to 6 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain Iron-Buhl for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Rush City will meet a Rangers squad coming off a 36-34 league win over Cherry (Iron, MN). The Rangers record now stands at 1-0.
