The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Norway Knights (Norway, MI) and the visiting Stephenson Eagles (Stephenson, MI), witnessed Norway's football squad wallop Stephenson by a tally of 68-2.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Central (Powers, MI). The Jets enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, North Central crushed Munising (Munising, MI), 43-8, in a non-league contest.
Next up, the Eagles encounter the St. Ignace Saints (St. Ignace, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 5. Stephenson will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 38-6 league win over Brimley (Brimley, MI).
