Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers (Saginaw, MI) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Sandusky Wolves (Sandusky, MI), 14-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Nouvel Catholic Central advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers host Loyola (Detroit, MI) to confront the Bull Dogs in a non-league match on Friday, September 5. The Bull Dogs come into the match with a record of 0-1. Loyola lost 28-22 in their recent non-league match against Hazel Park (Hazel Park, MI)

Coming up next, the Wolves confront the Marlette Red Raiders (Marlette, MI) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Sandusky will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Red Raiders go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 16-6 non-league win over Manchester (Manchester, MI).
