The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN) football triumphed over the host Yellow Medicine East Sting (Granite Falls, MN), 39-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Sleepy Eye/St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN) in a Mid South - Purple game, on Friday, September 5. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 22-14 non-league win over B O L D (Olivia, MN).
