Georgia High School Football - Taylor County falls to Wheeler County

August 28, 2025: Alamo, GA 30411

The Wheeler County Bulldogs felled the visiting Taylor County Vikings football team by a score of 28-20 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Twiggs County for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Wheeler County will meet a Cobras squad coming off a 42-20 non-league loss to Portal (Portal, GA). The Cobras record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Taylor County drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Georgia Military College lost 35-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Brentwood (Sandersville, GA)
