The Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI) football tipped the host Seaholm Maples (Birmingham, MI), 17-14 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Red Hawks battle the Northern Phoenix (Pontiac, MI) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 4. Athens will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
The Maples (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Black Hawks enter the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
