In Thursday's non-league match, the host Centennial Hawks football squad scored a close 12-7 triumph over the Mayfield Trojans.
The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM). The Bulldawgs come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Las Cruces tipped Gadsden (Anthony, NM), 42-0, in a non-league match.
