Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Cleburne Yellowjackets (Cleburne, TX), 42-36 in a non-league test.
The Tigers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waco for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4.
With the defeat, Cleburne drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Burleson (Burleson, TX) to meet the Elks in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Elks come into the test with a record of 0-0.
