In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Summit Charter Collegiate Academy Bears volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Monache Marauders.

The Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lindsay (Lindsay, CA). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.

The Marauders now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sanger for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Monache will face a Apaches squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Redwood (Visalia, CA). The Apaches record now stands at 0-1.
