Colorado High School Flag Football - Mountain Vista tops Arvada West

August 28, 2025: Arvada, CO 80004

The Mountain Vista Golden Eagles flag football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Arvada West Wildcats to 6 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Golden Eagles now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ponderosa for a 5A/4A Continental test on Tuesday, September 2. Mountain Vista will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Evergreen (Evergreen, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Arvada West drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Monarch (Louisville, CO) to meet the Coyotes in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Coyotes go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Monarch lost 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Legacy (Broomfield, CO)
