The McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) flag football knocked off the visiting Atwater Falcons (Atwater, CA), 26-6 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Lions now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Orange Lutheran for a non-league game on Saturday, August 30. McClatchy will battle a Lancers team coming off a 52-6 non-league win over Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 10-0.

The Falcons (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Turlock (Turlock, CA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Turlock notched a victory over Alameda (Alameda, CA), 19-6, in a non-league game.
