California High School Flag Football - Grossmont trounces Hoover

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Grossmont Foothillers flag football squad scored a decisive 52-0 triumph over the Hoover Cardinals.

The Foothillers (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Carlsbad routed Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA), 33-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Cardinals confront the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) in a City - City challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Hoover will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Pointers go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 16-0 league win over University City (San Diego, CA).
