The Kennedy Cougars flag football team (Sacramento, CA), was tipped 20-13 in Thursday's non-league bout with the host Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA)

With the win, Rio Linda advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 3. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 5-1.

The Cougars now hold a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lodi for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 2. Kennedy will confront a Flames squad coming off a 27-0 non-league win over Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA). The Flames record now stands at 4-0.
