California High School Flag Football - Maywood CES can't hold off South Gate

South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their flag football squad hold off the visiting Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA), 13-6 in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Rams face the Diego Rivera Huskies (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. South Gate will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
The Wolfpack (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Franklin was nipped by West Adams (Los Angeles, CA), 1-0, in a non-league test.
