The Columbus Grove Bulldogs held off the visiting Botkins Trojans soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Fort Jennings Musketeers (Fort Jennings, OH) in a Putnam County bout, on Saturday, August 30. Columbus Grove will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Musketeers go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Allen East (Harrod, OH).
With the loss, Botkins moves to 2-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Memorial (St. Marys, OH) to play the Roughriders in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30. The Roughriders go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Memorial lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Bath (Lima, OH)
