The Minneapolis South Tigers held off the host Como Park Cougars soccer squad by a margin of 4-3 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to North for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30. Minneapolis South will play a Polars squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Johnson (St. Paul, MN). The Polars record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Como Park moves to 2-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Washington Tech (St. Paul, MN) to play the Eagles in a Class A Section 4 bout on Saturday, September 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-1.
