Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Pigeon Forge Tigers (Pigeon Forge, TN) and the visiting Cumberland Gap Panthers (Cumberland Gap, TN), saw Pigeon Forge's soccer squad hold off Cumberland Gap by a count of 2-1.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Cosby (Cosby, TN). The Eagles come into the A District 1 match with a 3-1 record.
The Panthers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cosby for a A District 1 match on Tuesday, September 2. Cumberland Gap will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
