The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) football knocked off the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), 19-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Trojans now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashbrook for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. Northwest Cabarrus will battle a Greenwave team coming off a 28-0 non-league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Greenwave record now stands at 2-0.

The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Mount Pleasant was toppled by Carson (China Grove, NC), 22-19, in a non-league game.
