In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Dan River Wildcats football team scored a tight 6-0 win over the Tunstall Trojans.
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Dan River will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Comets go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 28-14 non-league win over Person (Roxboro, NC).
The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
