The Rams go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Starmount won 22-14 in their recent non-league battle against East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC)

The Warriors now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host South Davidson for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. Wheatmore will play a Wildcats team coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
