The Monroe Vikings football team (North Hills, CA), was crushed 46-0 in Thursday's non-league bout with the host Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA)

With the win, Taft advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Toreadors host Arleta (Arleta, CA) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Arleta lost 46-7 in their recent non-league contest against Cleveland (Reseda, CA)
