West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC), 22-20 in a non-league battle.

With the win, West Brunswick improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to South Columbus (Tabor City, NC) to face the Stallions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Stallions go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. South Columbus lost 35-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC)

The Wolfpack (0-1) will now prepare for their test against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, East Bladen edged West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC), 28-22, in a non-league test.
