Arroyo Grande Eagles (Arroyo Grande, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Atascadero Greyhounds (Atascadero, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Frontier (Bakersfield, CA). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Frontier lost by San Luis Obispo (San Luis Obispo, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Greyhounds face the Santa Ynez Pirates (Santa Ynez, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 11. Atascadero will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
