In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Carrollton Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Fayette County Tigers.
The Trojans (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Calhoun (Calhoun, GA). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Calhoun lost by Cartersville (Cartersville, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers play the Eagle's Landing Eagles (McDonough, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Fayette County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 7-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA).
