In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Columbia Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Southwest DeKalb Panthers.

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA). The Black Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Central Gwinnett was beaten by Heritage (Conyers, GA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Miller Grove Wolverines (Lithonia, GA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, September 3. Southwest DeKalb will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Wolverines go into the test with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Cross Keys (Atlanta, GA).
