Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) and the visiting Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA), observed Oglethorpe County's volleyball team top Eastside by a tally of 2-0.

The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Rabun County (Tiger, GA). The Wildcats go into the test with a 11-5 record.

The Eagles now own a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28.
