In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sonoraville Phoenix volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pickens Dragons.
The Phoenix (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record.
Next, the Dragons meet the North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Pickens will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
