South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Pioneer Titans (Whittier, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Jordan (Los Angeles, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Jordan lost by Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Titans play the Los Altos Conquerors (Hacienda Heights, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 9. Pioneer will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Conquerors go into the test with a 1-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Sonora (La Habra, CA).
