The St. Michael's Horsemen held off the visiting Sandia Prep Sundevils volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Horsemen now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Pojoaque Valley for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. St. Michael's will clash with a Elks/Elkettes team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Elks/Elkettes record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Sandia Prep falls to 0-1 on the year. The Sundevils travel to Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Vikings in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 3. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 2-1.
