Alden Bulldogs (Alden, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Tapestry Thunderhawks (Buffalo, NY), 4-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Alden advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Tonawanda (Tonawanda, NY) to play the Timberwolves in a ECIC IV outing on Friday, September 5. The Timberwolves go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Tonawanda lost 7-1 in their recent non-league outing against Wilson (Wilson, NY)

Next up, the Thunderhawks play the Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 10. Tapestry will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
