The Angola Hornets soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Prairie Heights Panthers to 0 in the Hornets league victory on Thursday.
The Hornets now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Norwell for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30. Angola will play a Knights squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Leo (Leo, IN). The Knights record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Prairie Heights drops to 1-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Fort Wayne Wayne (Fort Wayne, IN) to face the Generals in a non-league game on Wednesday, September 3. The Generals go into the challenge with a record of 1-2.
