Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Downingtown East Cougars (Exton, PA) and the host Boyertown Bears (Boyertown, PA), witnessed Downingtown East's soccer team knock off Boyertown by a final score of 3-0.

With the triumph, Downingtown East moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Haverford School (Haverford, PA) to meet the Fords in a non-league match on Saturday, August 30. The Fords come into the match with a record of 2-0.

The Bears now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Methacton for a Pioneer battle on Tuesday, September 2.
