The Lexington Minutemen soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Brookline Warriors to 0 in the Minutemen non-league victory on Thursday.
The Minutemen now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Watertown for a Middlesex contest on Tuesday, September 2. Lexington will face a Raiders team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Boston Latin Academy (Dorchester, MA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.
The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Weymouth (South Weymouth, MA). The Wildcats enter the Bay State - Carey contest with a 1-0 record.
