Indiana High School Soccer - Carmel nudges Cathedral

In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Carmel Greyhounds soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Cathedral Fighting Irish.
The Greyhounds (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Center Grove (Greenwood, IN). The Trojans enter the Independents outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Center Grove was edged by Louisville Collegiate (Louisville, KY), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
In their next game, the Fighting Irish clash with the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles (Noblesville, IN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 2. Cathedral will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 4-1 league win over Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory (Indianapolis, IN).
