In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Edgewood Mustangs soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Shoals Jug Rox.

The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against North Putnam (Roachdale, IN). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, North Putnam North Montgomery (Crawfordsville, IN), 4-4, in a league bout.

With the loss, Shoals moves to 1-3 on the year. The Jug rox host Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN) to play the Jeeps in a Blue Chip bout on Thursday, September 4. The Jeeps go into the bout with a record of 4-0.
