The Tigers now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Fairmont Senior for a Big Ten bout on Tuesday, September 2. Elkins will play a Polar Bears squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Polar Bears record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Nicholas County moves to 2-1 on the year. The Grizzlies host Summit Christian Academy (Princeton, WV) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Summit Christian Academy won 10-0 in their recent league bout against Westside (Clear Fork, WV)
