The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC). The Spartans enter the NCISAA Metrolina outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Gaston Day tipped University Christian (Hickory, NC), 9-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association Stallions (Concord, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 2. Hickory Grove Christian will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Stallions come into the test with a 5-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Albemarle (Albemarle, NC).
