August 28, 2025: Northbrook, IL 60062 Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Glenbrook North moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Von Steuben (Chicago, IL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Von Steuben won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Clemente (Chicago, IL)
