Illinois High School Soccer - Hancock toppled by Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South

Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South Meteors (Calumet City, IL) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Hancock Eagles (Chicago, IL), 6-1 in a non-league outing.
The Meteors (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Hinsdale South got by Marist (Chicago, IL), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 30. Hancock will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The RedHawks come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Hinsdale South (Darien, IL).
